RE: Request for Sponsorship, ATU Latino Caucus Conference

ATU International Latino Caucus is proud to announce its 23rd Annual ATU Latino Caucus Conference being held September 13th-16th, 2012 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Open to all ATU members, the Latino Caucus is officially recognized by our ATU International Union and exists to advance causes that benefit Latino Union members and to promote brotherhood and sisterhood among all Union members.

One way to support the good works of the Latino Caucus is to purchase an advertisement in its Souvenir Journal for the 23rd Annual Latino Caucus Conference. Influential Union officers and members from across the United States and Canada will be participating in the Conference this year, taking back the messages of unity and support to their membership.

We are asking you to consider purchasing an ad in the Souvenir Journal, which is published in an 8-1/2 by 11-inch format. There are a variety of ads available at different prices, but all ads will reach a wide audience of activists.

Many years ago, Samuel Gompers urged trade unionists to remember our friends and enemies alike. Part of the Caucus’ business is to develop unity and strategies to fight those who oppose the needs of working families, so you can leave that to us. But our conference participants know that taking home our Souvenir Journal helps us all to remember our friends.

We have enclosed an advertising contract for camera-ready ads. Please consider taking out an ad to help defray the costs of this important ATU Conference and to help make this year’s Conference our best yet. If you choose to do so, please be sure to let me know you have sent in your form. Thank you so much.
